UNBELIEVABLE

By Enola Jones

Once again, AR-1 was limping toward the Gate, carrying one of their own. "I can't believe you did this!" Rodney groaned against John's shoulder.

"I said I was sorry," Ronon growled as they paused at the DHD and he dialed.

Teyla shook her head. "It is just Rodney being Rodney."

"Hey!" Rodney yelped. "Injured man, here!"

Ronon shook his head as he entered the numbers on the GDO strapped to his left wrist underneath the leather wristlet. As he tugged the soft leather back over the technology, they all heard in their ears, You're early, AR-1.

"Yeah, we had a bit of trouble," John said, shifting Rodney and producing a pained groan. "We need a medical team."

It's en route, and they could hear Chuck's voice ordering it as Woolsey went on, What happened?

"There was a rockslide," John said. "Rodney's hurt."

Shield is down, AR-1. Come on through.

John walked through with Rodney. Teyla paused, putting her hand on Ronon's arm. "Are you all right?"

He shrugged. "Yeah, why?"

"You fell ten metres."

Ronon smiled. "McKay's soft."

Teyla chuckled as they walked through the Gate. This was certainly going to be an interesting report.

How could they explain – without everyone laughing at them – that Ronon had climbed a cliff to get a better vantage point. That the cliff had given way under his feet and hands.

And that he'd landed directly on Rodney when he hit the ground.
