It was ironic how his past and his present were both dominated by red-haired female forces of nature.

It was ironic how above the water he was a teacher and beneath he was a learner.

It was ironic how many of their cases now seemed to take an underwater twist.

It was ironic how the same disciplines he'd taught Jim were now being turned onto him.
