ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

"That came from where?" John teased.

"Shut up," Rodney sniffled, even as he smiled at Teyla's draping a woven blanket around his shoulders. "Unless you'd rather shiver in the dark while this rain puts out your campfire."

"Wouldn't be the first time," Ronon shrugged.

"Nobody asked you," Rodney shot back. Then he buried his face in the folds of the blanket and let forth a truly impressive series of bellowing sneezes.

"That showed great courage, Rodney," Teyla said.

"That wasn't courage, that was desperation," Rodney muttered.

"Rodney," John drawled. "You climbed onto General O'Neill's roof -- in the middle of a storm -- to restore the power."

"Like I said -- desperation. I need my laptop for the work I brought with me." Rodney looked at them. "What? I always have work with me, you know that!"

"We're on vacation, Rodney," John pointed out.

"So?" At their expressions, he finished, "No, really, so what? I can work here as well as anywhere!" As their expressions darkened, he rolled his eyes. "Are you kidding me? You're not going to let me work?"

'That is what vacation means," John pointed out. Wincing as Rodney sneezed again, he said, "Not that you're gonna be well enough in the morning towork...."
